Dr. Melinda Thacker is a fellowship-trained ear, nose, and throat surgeon with 13 years of clinical experience focused on adult nose and sinus disorders (chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal obstruction, septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy, smell disorders, and revision sinus surgery). She has evaluated and treated thousands of patients in clinic and the operating room, bringing deep, practical knowledge of standards of care, differential diagnosis, peri-operative decision-making, complication management, and long-term outcomes in rhinology. In addition to her surgical background, Dr. Thacker is a Master Certified Coach, a designation that reflects advanced training in high-stakes communication and clear, bias-aware reasoning. That combination—hands-on surgical expertise plus elite communication skill—allows her to translate complex ENT issues into precise, jury-friendly explanations, anchor opinions in the medical record and literature, and remain composed and credible under deposition or cross-examination. She is available for plaintiff or defense matters to opine on standard of care, causation, and damages; provide records review and written reports; conduct IMEs; and offer deposition and trial testimony in cases involving sinus surgery, postoperative hemorrhage, CSF leak, orbital or skull-base injury, diagnostic delay/misdiagnosis of sinonasal disease, and related ENT questions.
