Dr. Erter is an experienced, triple board-certified physician with over 10 years of experience as an expert medical witness. He maintains a strong focus on hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma and multiple myeloma in his clinical practice and has extensive experience treating solid tumors such as lung and breast cancer, as well as benign hematologic conditions including venous thromboembolism (blood clots) and nutritional anemias.
He greatly enjoys expert witness work, especially the opportunity to explain and teach complex concepts in hematology and oncology. Explaining these concepts in clear, relatable terms is one of his key strengths.
Dr. Erter is a busy practicing clinician and partner at Tennessee Oncology, one of the largest community-based hematology/oncology practices in the United States. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2016 and has chaired or co-chaired the Physician Recruitment Committee since 2014.
